President Caron today distributed our annual tip to the DOD staff. The amounts given were: Sandy, $300.00; Paul, $150.00; John, $150.00 and a miscellaneous tip of $100.00 given to Paul to distribute to the others that serve us. Sandy received the largest amount because she is the person who works with us the most and she always provides exceptional service. Members will be billed for their share of the tips.
SPEAKER: Ken was our speaker today as he once again made a wonderful and enjoyable travelogue of his recent trip. This portion was entitled “Part 1”, leaving us anxious to see the remainder of the trip. He was gone for 52 days visiting 26 states and driving over 10,000 miles while crossing 4 time zones. On the road he visited too many places to list here but he did visit Texas, New Mexico and many others. Stops were made at most of the National Parks including Grand Canyon, White Sands, and Big Ben. Additional stops were made at the Alamo, Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest. Another great job by Ken.
