He has been involved in some of the larger restoration projects undertaken. He was one of the key managers at the World Trade Center in the1993 restoration project as well as the Chicago Floods that inundated the downtown loop and hundreds of other projects of varying sizes and types.
He currently is located in Atlanta. In 1997 he began working for Relectronic-Remech where he focused on the restoration of electronics and machinery that had been damaged by various catastrophic events. Mr. Duty attended team leader training in the Research and Development facility in Germany where training focused on the chemical reactions caused by fire and water damage to electronics, machinery and structures. Mr. Duty has also served as an instructor on multiple occasions for the National Property Loss Research Bureau annual training meetings for insurance professionals.
BELFOR USA acquired Relectronic-Remech in 2000. Mr. Duty was once again heavily involved in the recovery efforts for many businesses after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. The variety of losses viewed and worked on by Mr. Duty has allowed him to develop a keen appreciation for designing complex recovery solutions that meet customer needs for time sensitive production schedules and bottom line results. Mr. Duty is a LEED AP and also holds the HCC designation from ASHE.

He is the Licensed General Contractor holder for BELFOR and has been involved in most of the major losses BELFOR has had in the Southeast since he joined them in late 2011.
He currently is located in Atlanta. His background is in new construction where he build large retail outlet stores throughout the Southeast prior to coming onboard with Belfor. He holds a degree in Management with a concentration in Construction Management, as well as certification with NASCLA, ASHE, HAAG and multiple other institutions.
He is currently the General Manager of Atlanta and most recently oversaw the operations resulting from hurricane Matthew in Savannah and Hilton Head.
