STAFF TEAM ROLES

BBYO’s International Convention will bring together 1200 teens from across the globe to decide the future of the organization. Every February, BBYO employs talented staff and volunteers who can support and connect with teens to enrich the overall experience of International Convention. IC enhances our teens’ Jewish identities, develops their capacity to lead with an entrepreneurial spirit, and strengthen their commitment to improving their communities.

Below is the job description for all IC Staff:
Staff - responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Making sure program participants are on-time to all meals, programs and events;

  • Staffing the halls/elevator/outside bathrooms/dining halls – whatever area is necessary;

  • Wake up and nighttime procedures and bed checks/name tag collection;

  • Attending and helping to facilitate assigned activities;

  • Staying attentive to health issues and the overall well-being of participants;

  • “Being there” for participants to answer questions and provide support and friendship;

  • Helping professional staff ensure that participants get enough sleep;
