  • BU New England Center for Investigative Reporting – Investigative Journalism Workshop for high school

students. The two-week program will give participants hands-on and academic training in investigative

  • Boston University – Academy of Media Production – A complete media production experience for

high school students. Students select three of the five workshop options—Film, Video,

Television, Editing, and Radio for Broadcast and Web. Each workshop runs for six

consecutive weekdays; Monday through Thursday workshops are held from 9:00 a.m. to

5:00 p.m., with an hour for lunch, and on Friday they run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm.

  • Camp Ramapo, Rhinebeck, NY – Each summer, Ramapo for Children serves more than 400 children with

special needs, ages 5 to 16, in a beautiful, engaging outdoor environment. Children enjoy a wide range of

  • The College of New Jersey – The Summer Bonner Program - High school students engage in meaningful

community service, earn college credits, have a two-week living experience on campus, and learn how to

  • The Girl’s Leadership Workshop is a leadership program for girls entering either their sophomore or their

junior year in high school. The nine day program empowers young women by advancing their knowledge

  • Hofstra University Honors College Summers Program –Sample college life, earn college credits, explore new

career paths and experience New York City. Designed for rising high school juniors and seniors, this is the

only Long Island program offering the complete college experience. In addition to earning 3 college credits,

  • Houghton College – introducing a new range of summer academic camps for high school age students.

Known for running one of the largest and most popular 5 day residential sports program in New York.

Computer science, fine arts, forensics, leadership and math are all offered this summer on a week-long

  • Hudson Valley Community College – Will offer college-level courses at Troy High School for just $45 per

  • St. John’s University offers a summer Scholars Program to current juniors. This is an opportunity for

academically qualified students to receive college credit at a reduce rate and to experience “college life” in

  • Siena College – High School Scholars Program – courses are open to highly qualified and motivated high

school juniors and seniors. A limited number of seats are available. The cost to each student will be only

$500.00, plus the cost of the textbook. Students will receive a letter grade and full college credit or high school
