The Best Shots Contest Offer (hereinafter “Offer”) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “Terms”):


PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SERVICE CURRENTLY KNOWN AS BEST SHOTS CRICKET TRIVIA OFFER. BY PROCEEDING WITH BEST SHOTS CRICKET TRIVIA OFFER, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, PLEASE DO NOT USE BEST SHOTS CONTEST SERVICES

   

TERMS:

1. This Offer is organized by Web18 Software Services, a Network18 group company, a company having its office at 601, 6th floor, Commercial Tower, Hotel Le Meridean, Raisina Road, New Delhi and the Offer is open for a limited period of 42 days from 1st November 2007 00:00:01 AM till 12th December 2007, 11:59:59 PM for the pre-paid as well as post-paid category of cellular subscribers of Vodafone, Airtel, Idea, BPL & BSNL (Landlines & Cellular Users) & MTNL (Cellular Users) of all telecom circles.

2. This Offer is valid only for existing category of active Subscribers who fulfill the following criteria:    


3. To participate:    

  1. Dial 505-2622 if you are a Vodafone, IDEA, Airtel mobile or Airtel landline user

  2. Dial 1255526 if you are a BSNL or MTNL user

  3. Dial 12555 for MTNL landline in Delhi and 127777 for MTNL landline in Mumbai

  4. SMS BS to 52622

  5. The Best Shots contest will be in English

  6. Questions will have three answer options

  7. You can select an answer by pressing 1, 2 or 3 on the phone keypad.

  8. You will get only one chance to answer the question. You will be taken to the next question if you give a wrong answer or a correct answer.

  9. Every right answer will get the subscriber +10 (addition of ten) points, no negative marking would be done.

  10. If you disconnect after answering the ‘n’th question, then the next time you call, you will get n+1 question.

  11. At the beginning of each call the current total score of the user will be played out. At the end of the call, the total score of the user will be sent to the user. Once the user completes all 100 questions, you will be allowed to participate again by answering the same 100 questions

4. Prize: The prizes are as follows - 


  1. 8 return air tickets from SpiceJet which will be distributed as follows:

  • Top 3 winners will get 2 return tickets each and the rest of the winners 1 return ticket each

  1. These tickets are valid for travel from Feb1, 2008 till 29th Feb 2008.

  2. These tickets are not valid for travel from 12th Feb 08 till 15th Feb 08

  3. All applicable taxes are payable by the winner

  4. Extra baggage charges will be borne by the winner

  5. The winners need to book their tickets at least 7 working days prior to the departure date.

  6. Flights to and from Port Blair will not be part of this promotion.

SMS charges:



  1. Rs 3 – Vodafone/ Airtel/Idea/BPL/Idea

  2. Rs 2 – Tata

  3. Re 1 – BSNL/MTNL landline

  4. Re 0.80 – BSNL/MTNL landline

6. This Offer is being made purely on a “best effort” basis and participation of eligible subscribers is voluntary.  


7. Subscriber shall directly contact WEB18 regarding any queries/complaints. Alternatively the subscriber can send an email to Web18 ID. All disputes must be addressed by the Subscriber in writing to Web18 directly

 

8. There is no cash alternative to the Prizes offered under this Offer.  


9. The Subscriber hereby further understands and agrees that Web18 shall be solely responsible for inter-alia the selection of the winners and delivery of the prizes. NETWORK18 shall be solely liable for all/any representations/warranties/communications made to the Subscriber regarding the aforesaid.

 

10. The Subscriber hereby understands and gives his/ her irrevocable consent for personal information relating to the Subscriber to be exchanged with Network18 Group.


11. The service provider is neither responsible nor guarantees the quality of the goods/ services being offered as prizes nor is liable for any defect or deficiency of goods or services so obtained/availed, by the subscribers under this Offer. Network18 is also not liable for any defect/ deficiency in the prize(s) so offered or availed, by the subscribers under this Offer.
12. The prize(s) under the Offer is neither assignable nor transferable under any circumstances.  
13. All the prizes shall be subject to such other terms and conditions as may be applicable to specific prizes and shall have to be duly complied with by the winner.
14. The prize(s) to the winner shall be given subject to compliance with all applicable statutory legislations/ processes /formalities in connection with the prize(s) and on production all such documents/papers as required by NETWORK18 before accepting the delivery of the prize. Any failure on the part of the winner to comply with directions issued by NETWORK18 for claim of prize shall entitle NETWORK18 to forfeit the prize(s).

 

15. All incidental costs/taxes/levies related to the prize(s) shall be exclusively borne by the subscriber.  


16. The employees of Vodafone, BPL, IDEA, Airtel, BSNL & MTNL and its group companies, vendors, affiliate or associate companies shall not be eligible to participate in this Offer.  
17. The Subscriber hereby agrees and undertakes not to hold Vodafone, AIRTEL, BPL, IDEA, BSNL, MTNL or NETWORK18 and/or or any of their group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, vendors, responsible for or liable for, any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses that the Subscriber may/might have suffered, sustained or incurred, or claims to suffer, sustain or incur, by way of and /or on account of the present Offer.
18. Vodafone, AIRTEL, BPL, IDEA, BSNL, MTNL or NETWORK18 shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal loss or injury that may be suffered (including loss of life), to a Subscriber and/or any third party, directly or indirectly, by use or non-use of the prize.
19. The prize(s) must be claimed within 30 days of receiving the intimation from NETWORK18 failing which Vodafone, AIRTEL, BPL, IDEA, BSNL, MTNL or NETWORK18 reserve the right to forfeit the same.
20. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any alternative offer or promotion.
21. This Offer is subject to force maejure circumstances i.e. Act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Vodafone, AIRTEL, BPL, IDEA, BSNL, MTNL or NETWORK18.  
22. The terms and conditions stated herein shall not override the terms and conditions of the Subscriber Enrolment Form.  
23. The Offer is valid subject to compliance with all formalities as required by Vodafone, AIRTEL, BPL, IDEA, BSNL & MTNL or NETWORK18. Any failure on the part of the subscriber to comply with the specified formalities shall disqualify the Subscriber.
24. This Offer is subject to guidelines/ directions issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India or any other statutory authority from time to time.
25. The decision of Web18 in respect of all transactions under this offer shall be final and binding.  
26. Web18 reserve the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw, change, alter or modify this offer or any part thereof including the eligibility criteria at its sole discretion at anytime during it’s validity as may be required in view of business exigencies and/or changes by regulatory authority and/or statutory changes and the same shall be binding on the Subscriber.
27. The present offer is organized and administered by NETWORK18.  
28. The Terms & Conditions are subject to Indian Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Delhi.
