Currently, Director, Sports Performance & Development, Australian Sports Commission.
A former Deputy Chief of Air Force, Brent held numerous command posts thru his RAAF career.
He first learned of the Penguin Flying Training School when leading The Roulettes in a routine
display for the Herd Island Air Show in 1976. In later years, with responsibility for security and
intelligence for the 2000 Sydney Games and CHOGM, Brent would make use of this knowledge.
The focus of Brent’s address will be “Flying Penguins and Elite Athletes – Some Surprising Similarities”
