The Appoquinimink High School Raider Team brought home to Jaguar Country Trophies! The competition consisted of Five separate events. A First Aid and rescue Litter Carry, a Physical Fitness Test, a One Rope Bridge contstruction and crossing, Humvee Truck Pull and finally a 5K Run.. They competed against 5 other High Schools: Dover, Sussex Tech, , Wicomico, Sussex Central, and First State Military Academy. They achieved victory in the following areas:
1st PLACE TROPHY, Humvee Truck Pull
2nd PLACE TROPHY, 5K Team Run
3rd Place Litter Carry
AND THE SECOND PLACE OVERALL TROPHY
Cadet Command Sergeant Major Daniel Vega won Top Male Cadet in the Ironman Competition Physcal Fitness Competition, TWO CONSECUTIVE TIMES!!
THE JROTC JAGUAR RAIDER TEAM PERFORMED MAGNIFICENTLY AND ONCE MORE, THEY HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES TO BE A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE TEAM. NOW WE WILL BE GOING TO THE STATES CHAMPIONSHIP!!JAGUAR PRIDE ALL THE WAY!

Boys and Girls Cross Country practice is cancelled for today.
Congratulations to the AHS Marching Band who earned their second highest score ever at the Atlantic Coast Championships this past weekend. The Marching Band Placed in the top 5 for the second year in a row and earned a Gold level score. In addition, the AHS Percussion continued their dominance in Tournament of Bands by winning their 3rd straight Best Percussion Award. The Color Guard came in a close second and earned their highest placement ever! Lastly the Woodwinds placed 3rd and the Brass section placed 5th in the music specialty captions. The marching band had had a fantastic end to their season and Mr. Moseley could not be any prouder of them and all of the hard work they have put in this year for our 10th Anniversary Season!
Attention students in the second period B day study hall! It will no longer meet in the library. From now on, please report directly to Ms. Horning’s room in B222.

Attention members of the International Club:
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 15th, from 2:30 to 3:30 in room B222. Please arrange a ride or plan to take the activity bus. We are celebrating the culture of Italy- feel free to bring food to share. Ciao!
