Biography “This is what rock and roll music will sound like in Heaven.” The RockNRoll Chorus launched it’s first tour and full length album (What They Didn’t Teach Us In School) in 2007. Since that time The RockNRoll Chorus has been blessed with amazingly talented singers and performers over more than 15 casts! These casts have performed with, and opened for, Bruce Springsteen, Darlene Love, Jacquie Lee, Judy Collins, Gavin DeGraw, Colbie Caillat, Sara Bareilles, Jefferson Airplane, Foreigner, Kenny Loggins, The Chieftains, Classic Albums Live: Pink Floyd, The Wall, Willie Nile, Max Weinberg, Jay Leno, Danu, Jill Tirrell, The Chicago Children’s Choir, and many studio recordings as a guest choir! The RockNRoll Chorus has also been on the Grammy ballot several times for tracks on their albums Take A Second Look (2009) and Rounding Third (2012) in the categories of “Best Performance by a Pop Vocal Group or Duo,” “Engineer of the Year,” “Album of the Year,” “Best Rock Record,” “Producer of the Year,” and others. The RockNRoll Chorus is very proud of it’s Creative Staff. Over the life of the project our staff has included: Freddie Walker-Browne (RENT, LION KING), Malcolm Coulden (The Metropolitan Opera), Joe Cantaffa (Director, Arranger), Mary Huhmann-Kenny (Choral Director of OCVTS of the Arts, professional Soprano), Beth Moore (Choral Director of Central Regional High School, professional Accompanist), Eric Thompson (Assistant Creative Director, Beat-Box Specialist, Entertainer), Hannah Juliano (The Sing-Off, Delilah, Musae), Marianne Cheng (SWITCH), Patty Danner (Tour Manager, Choral Director at Mendham High School, professional vocalist in DRIVE! QUARTET), Shawna Kile-Longo (Tour Manager, Choral Director at Lenape Valley High School), Jessica Pomeroy (Tour Manager, Choral Director at Hackettstown High School, professional Jazz Alto), Bill Burke (Audio Specialist), John Vines (Audio Specialist, FOH). The RockNRoll Chorus also loves contributing to charities by performing for organizations such as NY ALS, NJ Epilepsy Foundation, The Light of Day Foundation (International Tour Finale), American Cancer Society, and The NJ Vietnam Veterans War Memorial. Beyond that RNRC has performed at venues including NJPAC, Continental Airlines Arena, The Prudential Center, Sovereign Bank Arena, Boardwalk Hall, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland), The Ocean Grove Auditorium, The PNC Bank Arts Center, The Stone Pony, Faneuil Hall (Boston), B.B King’s (NYC and Nashville), Turner Field (Atlanta), Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Charlseton Music Hall (SC), The Paramount./Convetion Hall (NJ), The Count Basie Theater, Hard Rock Café (Baltimore Inner Harbor, Atlanta, Atlantic City), 17th Street Theater (Virginia Beach), The Riverfront (Savannah), Navy Pier (Chicago)…and many more!
