The Mid Atlantic is a fascinating region of our country. For example, think about the places to visit in Virginia: The first settlement (Jamestown); the place where the Civil War (Appomatox) and the Revolutionary War (Yorktown) ended; countless river plantations and beautiful national parks; George Washington’s Mt. Vernon and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello (one of the most interesting places to visit in our country). Add to that our nation’s Capitol (with stunning CHERRY BLOSSOMS), Williamsburg, scenic drives, endless history, and you have a profound travel destination. But that’s just the beginning. We’ll travel through North Carolina enjoying the scenic Outer Banks and continue to South Carolina seeing Charleston, Myrtle Beach and the beautiful Middleton Place Plantation. We’ll end the tour in beautiful Atlanta with a chance to see Stone Mountain, the Underground and more.
And we’ll do it in the spring of the year when temperatures are pleasant, flowers and trees are blooming and summer crowds have yet to arrive. It is a perfect time to visit the region. Read on. We think you'll like what we have planned.
