As with any application process, be cautious of possible scams and that you not apply to any scholarship program that requests application fees or other fees.

Scholarships for Students with Learning Disabilities (General)
Anne Ford and Allegra Ford Scholarship
The Anne Ford and Allegra Ford Scholarship is a $10,000 award given to two high school
seniors with identified learning disabilities (LD) who will be pursuing four-year
undergraduate degrees.
The National Center for Learning Disabilities, Inc. (NCLD) is seeking applicants for the Anne Ford and Allegra Ford Scholarship, which is available to students of high merit with an identified learning disability (LD). To be eligible for the Anne Ford and Allegra Ford Scholarship, an applicant must:

Have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4 point scale (or equivalent)

Demonstrate financial need

Provide most current documentation of an identified learning disability

Note: ADD/ADHD or Asperger’s alone is not considered a learning disability; eligible candidates

with ADD/ADHD or Asperger’s must also provide documentation of a specific learning disability

Be a U.S. Citizen

Be enrolled as a senior in high school, public or private, with the intention of pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree
Students of minority background are encouraged to apply. Application deadline is December 31.

Learning Disability Association of America Scholarships
The Learning Disability Association of America (LDA) sponsors scholarships for students with learning disabilities in many states. Contact your state's LDA chapter for details.

P. Buckley Moss Society Scholarships and Awards
The P. Buckley Moss Society has three scholarships.

The Judith Cary Memorial Scholarship is $1,000 award for students who are pursuing either a bachelor's or a master's degree in special education. Nominations for the Judith Cary Scholarship can be made only by members of the P. Buckley Moss Society.

The Anne and Matt Harbison Scholarship is $1,500 scholarship for a graduating high school senior with a certified language-related learning difference who is pursuing post-secondary education. Renewable for up to three additional, consecutive years.

The P. Buckley Moss Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship goes to one or more high school seniors with financial need, with certified language-related learning difference and artistic talent, who plan a career in visual arts. Scholarships are potentially renewable for up to three additional years.

National Society of the DAR/Margaret Howard Hamilton Scholarship
This award is for $1,000 (renewable for 4 years) for a high school senior who has been accepted to the Ben Caudle Learning Center, University of the Ozarks.

The Marion Huber Learning Through Listening® (LTL®) Awards The Learning Through Listening Awards are presented to RFB&D members who are high school seniors with learning disabilities.
For the purpose of this award, a learning disability is defined as neurological disorder that affects a person's ability to receive, process, store, and/or respond to information, and the person's ability to read standard print.
A selection committee will choose six exceptional students as recipients of this award. RFB&D gives three top winners $6,000 each and three special honors winners $2,000 each.

Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility criteria:

Have a specific learning disability (please note that visual impairment alone does not indicate eligibility for this award)

Registered as an RFB&D member for at least one year, up to and including the period of April 1, 2009 - April 30, 2010 (individually or through a school)

Member of the 2010 graduating class of a public or private high school (or home school) in the United States
-
Overall grade point average of B (i.e. 3.0 out of 4.0) or above based on grade levels 10 through 12 at the time of application

Plan to continue formal education beyond high school at either a two- or four-year college or vocational school
