“OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL AND ENTERTAINING FAMILY ATTRACTION, PRESERVING, SHARING AND TAKING PRIDE IN AN AUTOMOTIVE HERITAGE THAT TRULY ENCOURAGED AND SHAPED THE GROWTH OF THIS COUNTRY.” 
Dear VAM Members: On behalf of the Board of Trustees, welcome to the Vintage Automobile Museum of New Jersey in 2018. The organization was established in 2000 and has been in existence over 17 years. We hope you find many benefits to being a member of VAM, including but not limited to meeting other antique car enthusiasts, attending museum events, and gaining increased automotive knowledge provided by the Speaker’s Bureau and History on Wheels educational programs. Preserving, Sharing, and Taking Pride in Our Automotive Heritage…is not only our mission but our mantra as well. VAM may be a museum but we have always been active beyond our museum walls. Over the past 17 years, we have partnered with local and state organizations such as the Point Pleasant Borough Chamber of Commerce, Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce, New Jersey Museum of Boating, Tuckerton Seaport Museum, and history museums of Ocean County. The Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission, and the Ocean County Office of Tourism have provided Grant funding and continue to help sustain our efforts over time. More recently, we have expanded our educational program to work with children’s organizations like the Boy & Girl Scout Clubs of Ocean County. VAM supports events that celebrate community and holiday events, enable school children to learn about vintage cars and their shaping of our society, as well as participate in car shows that support charitable causes. The most important fundraising event during the year is the Raffle Car, which takes place in November of each year. VAM works hard to sell raffle tickets throughout the year. For the past several years, we have attended the New York and Philadelphia International Car Shows, displaying vintage automobiles and increasing public awareness about our museum. Raffle Car sales this year exceeded $65,000. Thank you for becoming a member of VAM and we look forward to your participation at some of these events.
