Statement: Mike is a proven and effective leader who listens. As your representative, he became a statewide champion for public safety, passing tougher child abuse legislation, the Lakewood Police Memorial Act, and Blue Alert. Mike passed legislation to reduce unfunded mandates on schools, bring a four-year university to our region, and sponsored bills to improve infrastructure and attract jobs. He believes overspending leads to deficits and higher taxes, so he always supports fiscal restraint.
Mike will continue to be a leader that makes the needs of our communities a priority and ensures they are heard by lawmakers in Olympia.

Statement: An oncology nurse who joined the U.S. Army and later started a small business to help raise her five daughters, Mary McNaughton understands getting results means taking action. As a PTA mom, Mary fought for better schools. As our Representative, she’ll demand full funding for K-12 education and push for increased transparency, accountability and government reforms - not harmful cuts.
