As your representative, he became a statewide champion for public safety, passing tougher child abuse legislation, the Lakewood Police Memorial Act, and Blue Alert. Mike passed legislation to reduce unfunded mandates on schools, bring a four-year university to our region, and sponsored bills to improve infrastructure and attract jobs. He believes overspending leads to deficits and higher taxes, so he always supports fiscal restraint. Mike will continue to be a leader that makes the needs of our communities a priority and ensures they are heard by lawmakers in Olympia.
