from Asia are manufactured goods (machinery and transport equipment;
textiles, apparel, and footwear and other manufactured materials. The figure is somewhat lower than those products share in overall African imports, which is 75 percent. Among manufactured products, textiles,
apparel, and footwear are more represented in imports from Asia than the average, and less represented for other manufactured products.
