AIM

To develop understanding of e-governance and highlight the effectiveness of ICT interventions in evidence based problem solving / decision making for effective service delivery.


SCOPE


    1. Process of Evidence Based Problem Solving / Decision making.

    2. Business Process Mapping and re-engineering.

    3. Software (Android based Applications) will be developed with the participation of the participants as per the requirement of their respective departments with the assistance of PITB & IT Staff of respective NIMs.

AIM

To develop understanding of internal and external environment affecting planning and execution of public policy at operational level.


SCOPE

  1. To promote understanding of the methodology & processes of public policy implementation & management at the operational/implementation level.

  2. To develop an understanding of the genesis of the constituent regions of the State of Pakistan and their administrative peculiarities.

  3. To create awareness about the internal socio-economic and political dynamics of Pakistan particularly militancy, extremism, terrorism environment and their impact on public service delivery.

  4. To sensitize participants about Natural Resource Management (NRM) to meet the challenges posed by climatic changes.

  5. To enhance understanding of the impact of international donor agencies, multinationals and NGOs on implementation of public policy.

  6. To develop understanding of National Objectives & Vital National Interests and their linkages with policies and strategies.

  7. To sensitize participants about important national issues like Education, Health, Human Rights, Energy, Food Security and Privatization Process and Urban Planning.
