AIM

To develop an understanding of administrative structures & challenges of governance for better service delivery at the operational level.



SCOPE

  1. To create an understanding of the nature of parliamentary form of government and administrative structures, functions, rules of business and other related rules (ESTACODE & Secretariat Instructions).

  2. To highlight emerging challenges of governance and management capabilities (such as pro-activeness) of provinces/local governments to improve service delivery.

  3. To comprehend government initiatives to introduce e-governance through automation to streamline management at the operational and implementation level.

  4. To understand the role of judiciary in governance.

  5. To understand accountability of administrative actions and its impact on public service delivery.

  6. To sensitize participants about the ethics in governance and its impact on public service delivery.

  7. To equip participants with Media Management Skills.
