2011 1 RB guaranteed (injury only, not paid)
JI Halsell, Washington Post: Prior to the 2010 season, the Broncos signed a then 34-year-old nose tackle in Jamal Williams to a contract that averaged $5.3 million over three years with $6 million guaranteed and paid in the first year with another $1 million guaranteed for injury in year two of the deal. Williams, whose 2009 season with the Chargers was ended by a triceps injury in week one, was able to start 16 games for the Broncos, which allowed the nose tackle to earn an additional $1.25 million in 2010 through an incentive based on his playing time.
Brian McIntyre, MacsFootballBlog.com: Williams was due a $1 million roster bonus and $4 million base salary [in 2011]…

1998 Retired Post
John Henderson, Denver Post: Zimmerman finished the last of a three-year contract that paid him a base of $1.7 million with a cap value, including signing bonus, of $2.48 million.
Jeff Lenihan, Minneapolis Star Tribune: Zimmerman would receive only $950,000 in salary for this season… Zimmerman signed a three-year, $6.9 million deal with the Denver Broncos yesterday. If he is on the roster for all 16 regular-season games, he will receive a bonus worth $1.25 million that will be paid in 1994 and bump his total compensation for this season up to $2.2 million. He is signed for $2.3 million in 1994 and $2.4 million in '95.
AP: Zimmerman has signed a one-year $2.4 million contract with the Denver Broncos
Alex Marvez, Rocky Mountain News: Denver signed tackle Gary Zimmerman to a four-year, $13-million contract Tuesday that included a $2.8 million signing bonus. But Zimmerman will count only $900,000 against Denver's 1997 salary cap because the bonus is spread throughout the length of the contract and the base salary is $200,000.
