International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS)

Each year ICMS awards several scholarships and awards to distinguish outstanding students from various programs. 

  • National Scholarships


Each scholarship covers the full tuition fees for two years of study at the College and is valued up to $49,000


  • International Student Scholarship

Open to all international students applying to study at ICMS. The value of the scholarship is AUD$25,000 which covers tuition fees for subjects studies in the one-year Diploma course (Hospitality Management; Event Management; and International Tourism) OR first year studies of the two-year Associate Degree of Business (Property; Retail; and Sport), as well as on-campus accommodation for one semester.

James Cook University


A range of scholarships, including accommodation scholarships and textbooks grants. Range in value between $400 and $8,000 and upwards. Some of these scholarships include:

  • Pro-Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship in Arts, Education and Social Sciences


The Pro Vice Chancellor's Scholarship in Arts, Education and Social Sciences was created to attract high achieving students – ATAR of 99.00 – to degrees offered by the Faculty. Each year the Faculty awards one scholarship to the value of $10,000 to be allocated over the first two years of study. Open to CSP students. Students must download and submit an application form. Applications close 31 December 2012.


  • Pro-Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship in Law, Business and Creative Arts

The Faculty offers scholarships and bursaries valued at $5,000 each for full time students’ enroling in Bachelor's program offered by the Faculty of Law, Business and the Creative Arts at either the Cairns or Townsville campuses on the basis of merit and achievements prior to entry. CSP students should download the application form and submit it by 31 January 2013.


The Faculty of Science and Engineering Entry Bursaries, valued at $2,000 are offered to successful candidates who are CSP students, have achieved a Very High Achievement in a subject or subjects in the disciplines taught by the Faculty, e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Geography, Information Technology or Geology, attain a minimum ATAR of 96.00 and enrols in a Bachelors program or major offered by the Faculty of Science and Engineering

  • Pro-Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship in Science & Engineering

The Pro Vice Chancellor's Scholarship in Science and Engineering, valued at $10,000 shall be awarded to a candidate who is a CSP student, who attains an ATAR of 99.00 and is is enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree taught in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Download application form and send in by the closing date of 31 January 2013.

JMC Academy


JMC Academy's scholarships cover the tuition fees for the first year of study in one of the JMC Academy's five Bachelor Degree courses:


        • Audio Engineering and Sound Production

        • Digital Television Production

        • Digital Media, Games and 3D Animation

        • Entertainment Business Management

        • Popular Music and Performance

Kangan Institute


Scholarship valued up to $5,000

An Academic Achievement scholarship is available in a range of courses including visual merchandising, applied fashion & design and justice. The selection process involves an interview between 1 November 2012 and 31 December 2012. Only Australian students may apply.

La Trobe University Scholarships

Scholarships ranging in value up to more than $4,000 per year


La Trobe University offers many scholarships to commencing students. Some scholarships apply to any program of study; some are applicable to specific courses or campuses. Students wishing to apply for a La Trobe Scholarship, must list La Trobe University among their VTAC preferences. These scholarships are available to commencing students who are undertaking university studies for the first time.
Besides the numerous access & equity scholarships on offer, some of the merit scholarships include:



  • Vice- Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships

All students with an ATAR of 90 and above, and who are Australian citizens or permanent residents and commencing their first year of study will be considered for this scholarship valued at $6,000 per year.

All eligible applicants who have put in an application through VTAC to La Trobe will automatically be considered. Should students have any queries as to which courses are eligible call (03) 9479 2014 or e-mail scholarships@latrobe.edu.au.




  • Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) for International Students

  • Civil Engineering - CPG Australia /La Trobe University Scholarship Program

This Scholarship Program is available to full-time CSP students commencing the Bachelor of Civil Engineering course, or one of the Engineering double degree courses, at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University. This scholarship – valued at $5,000 per year – is renewable on a yearly basis, subject to satisfactory academic and professional performance. Other benefits include fully-paid vacation work experience during each year of the course ($6000 per year, approximate), and access to career mentoring advice from CPG Australia Pty Ltd Engineers.



  • Computer Science and Computer Engineering Scholarships for Excellence

This scholarship is available to outstanding CSP students, who enrol full-time in any undergraduate degree within the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering.   • Electronic Engineering – Hooper Memorial Scholarship

The Hooper Memorial Scholarship is for outstanding CSP students who are commencing any four or five year engineering course in the Department of Electronic Engineering. One scholarship of $2,000 is offered annually and selection criteria are based on academic merit. The closing date is 6 December 2012.


  • Computer Science and Computer Engineering Departmental Scholarship

This scholarship is available for domestic undergraduate students who are enroling in a computer science or computer engineering course. This scholarship is valued at $2,000. Applications close 6 December 2012.


  • Computer Science and Computer Engineering Scholarship for Outstanding Female Students

This scholarship is available for outstanding female CSP students who are enroling in an undergraduate computer science or computer engineering course. This scholarship is valued at $6000. Applications close 6 December 2012.


  • Ambassador Scholarships in Engineering and Mathematical Sciences

Valued at $2,000 for each year of study, plus personal mentoring by an academic and/or industry sponsor. Applicants must enrol in a program leading to a major study in a discipline of the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (SEMS) at the Melbourne or Bendigo campus of La Trobe University.   • Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional) Scholarships

This scholarship is automatically awarded to all first and second year undergraduate full-time students undertaking the Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional) course at La Trobe's Bendigo campus.

The scholarship provides $2000 per year in year 1 and 2, and the award of an IBL scholarship (value approximately $20,000) in year 3. The total value of the scholarship is $24,000.




  • Michael Malthouse Elite Sports Bursary

This scholarship is available to CSP students who attain an ATAR of 90.00+ and demonstrate high achievement in their chosen sport. Students should be currently competing at state, national or international level in their chosen sport. This scholarship is valued at $10,000 for one year. Eligibility criteria for university wide, faculty and campus scholarships vary, as do the closing dates. Students are encouraged to check scholarships offered by their campus or faculty and to note the relevant application requirements and closing dates. Applications for many scholarships open 6 August 2012 and close 19 October 2012.
