PI Interface to the Baily System
-debuglevel=#
Optional
The –debuglevel parameter specifies the Interface's debugging level, from 0 to 3, inclusive. When –debuglevel is nonzero, the Interface prints debugging messages. The higher the debugging level, the more messages the Interface prints.
The default value is 0 (no debugging).
-delay=#
Optional
The –delay parameter specifies the number of seconds to delay between calls, from 0.1 to 30, inclusive.
The default value is 2.

-ec=#
Optional
The
-ec parameter specifies a counter number, x, for an IO Rate point. The value of
x should be between 1 and 99, inclusive.
If the
-ec parameter is not specified, the Interface uses a value equal to the
–CIU# parameter.
Configuration of an IO Rate point is discussed in the section called IO Rate Point Configuration”.
-excepscreen=#
Optional
A value of 0 for the -excepscreen parameter disables CIU exception reporting screening. A value of 1 enables it.
The default value is 0.
-failover=#
Optional
The -failover parameter indicates whether the interface is running in a failover configuration 0 – no failover; 1 – Primary interface 2 – Secondary interface. Seethe Principles of Operations chapter for more information.
The default value is 0.
-host=

Required
The –host parameter specifies the name of the PI Server
-outputflag=#
Optional
A value of 0 for the -outputflag parameter disables PI output points. A value of 1 enables it.
The default value is 1.
-port=#
Required
The -port parameter specifies the COM port of the Windows computer for communications to the Bailey CIU. Use a value of 1 for COM, a value of 2 for COM, and so on.
