1 Artisan is a rural craftsman who has manual skill for operating small tools and machines, either by self-employment or working for another artisan for earning his/her livelihood. Craftsman/ handicraftsman is a person who produces articles by skill of the hand and of special vocation acquired over a period- A handicraft article to be distinct from rural craft must undergo at least one operation/process involving skill of hand. They cover artistic/utilitarian handicrafts. Entrepreneur is a person who performs the task of coordinating the agents of production and manages the business unit. The unique feature of an entrepreneur is to bear uncertainty i.e. unpredictable and non insurable risks.
