284 High speed machining for materials that are easy to process, such as temperature, vibration, plastering, etc. The control of factors during machining is crucial. These factors were found to have reached technically desirable levels with the big industrial revolution. High-strength materials are often used with the development of material technology. Due to the relationship between strength and hardness, the machin- ability of such materials becomes difficult. It is essential that hard materials can be machined at high speed with high quality. However, the desired performance due to the structure of the material depends on the high-quality machine and tool. Machine and tool technology should also be considered separately. The development of ceramic inserts in tool technology has increased the machining centers with high speed spindles, which has led to the HSM technique. High- strength tool steels, nickel-based superalloys have thus reached more reasonable costs. In the following sections, these techniques will be examined in detail.
