Furthermore, while the redesign element provides adequate environmental impact by simplifying future postuse processes, it is possible to enhance product performance by utilizing the reproduction element to reduce natural resources, energy, and cost
[1,2]
. One of the most critical aspects of the development and strengthening of sustainable production systems is to obtain some primary keys for implementation. It can be observed from the open literature
[4,12,14]
that the implementation of the sustainable model is discussed in three main stages as follows:
Research: To develop, assess, and investigate specific sustainability conditions, including the use of energy and resources, pollution, and climate change effects. The earlier-mentioned stage of the model has high potential because it helps to provide sustainability at the precompetitive level and concentrates on production environmental subjects.
Improvement: Improving environmental performance including environmental footprint evaluation, lifecycle analysis, and design for the environment by utilizing suitable methods and tools Commercialization To improve the prior stages and to cooperate with suppliers, vendors, and customers. All the six parameters chosen have various levels of expectation as demonstrated in Table 11.1
. However, when we evaluate all these factors concerning technology and cost, it is observed that the desired levels cannot be reached. Besides, there are strong interactions among these factors. Therefore only an optimized solution will be useful and will include combinations of all levels that can be achieved with there- straints applied. The access level is again considerably relative and specific.
