culture, social change and education
Industrialization: One of the effects of industrialization is urbanization, social and geographical mobility. The introduction of technological innovations also influences social change in the society. One of the areas in which industrialization has influenced social change is the introduction of new consumer goods which are a result of new or improved technology. The various brands of phones used in the Global System for Mobile Telecommunication (GSM) and the fleet of exotic cars in the Nigerian market is an attestation to the new technology occasioned by industrialization.

Education: This is an important instrument of social change in that it provides greater opportunity for knowledge and enlightenment as well as lays the foundation for new attitudes and values. This in turn provides the right atmosphere for social change.
