CHAPTER THREE
RESEARCH METHOD
This chapter deals with the design of the study, area of the study, population of the study, sample and sampling technique, instrument for data collection, validation of the instrument, reliability of instrument, method of data collection and data analysis.
Design of the Study
This study adopted the correlational research design. A correlational research design according to Nworgu (2006) is a research design that is interested in establishing the relationship between two or more variables in relation to the population. This design was considered appropriate because it provided the researcher the opportunity of sampling the opinion of a large number of the population considered significant to determine if a relationship exists between the dependent and independent variable.
