The Botanical Gardens (Jardin des Plantes) are a15-minute walk from the Vaugueux area. Walk along Geole Street, with the castle wall on your right. Turn left on Bosnieresto reach Place Blot and the entrance to the gardens. The Jardin des Plantes has been a beautiful botanical haven in Caen for over three centuries—a living museum of the flora of the Normandy region. Admission is free.
