--William Woods University is a small, private university, with a liberal arts background located in Fulton, Mo. Our campus sits on over 200 acres of beautiful land, featuring two lakes, conveniently located in the middle of Missouri, making all major cities accessible.

--Our 40+ academic programs range from strong traditional programs to rare programs such as nationally-ranked Equestrian Science and 1 of 30 American Sign Language Interpreting programs in the nation, creating attractive options for out-of-state students (40% of our campus body are out-of-state students).

--At WWU, we believe learning outside of the classroom is equally important as learning inside the classroom, so we started our innovative LEAD program (Leading, Educating, Achieving, Developing). LEAD is a $5,000 scholarship awarded every accepted student; students participate in fun and educational and activities outside of the classroom to renew the LEAD scholarship each year.

--William Woods is ranked among the top 100 colleges in the Midwest by U.S. News & World Report.

--100% of our students receive financial aid.

--Among our network of more than 20,000 successful alumni, we count an Olympic gold medalist, the trainer of Thunder, mascot of the Denver Broncos, and innumerable professionals in medicine, business, law, and education — including more than 600 school leaders ranging from superintendents and principals, and special education administrators. William Woods graduates fill positions at Disney, 3M, Coca-Cola, UPS, Hewlett-Packard and many other major corporations.
