Factors enhancing technology trends and training

The transformation of educational paradigms results in improvements in educational approaches and technology (Boggs, 2019). A number of factors contributed to the emergence of modern technologies and techniques. Initially, the competency-based approach was clearly realistic; as a result, new method styles,

approaches, and instructional technology have largely replaced the traditional (lecture-seminar-practicum) mode. Bühler et al., (2022) opined that, workshops, corporate and role-playing games, problem-solving techniques, computer simulations, and project-based learning are all part of contemporary education studies, as are background studies, case studies, and so forth. The biggest benefit of modern education technology is its collaborative nature, which allows for increased student interaction and constructive involvement in the training process (Sultana, 2022).

Furthermore, advancements in information technology (IT) had a significant impact on the educational process, transforming it into one that was more interactive and online. There is a diverse variety of information and communication instructional technology available, including online lectures, Web conferences, computer-aided engineering, and so on. According to Ivanov et al., (2015), it encouraged the introduction of online schooling, and as a result, student self-directed work increased significantly. Various training innovations have been effectively used to increase the efficiency of engineering education. Modern teaching technologies are developed to ensure student engagement, teamwork, independence, the capacity to produce outcomes, and communication skills (Pokholkov et al., 2020).
The use of the following innovations and models improves mechanical engineering education trends.
  • System of Technical University integration.

University education typically facilitates industry-university collaboration by allowing students to combine part-time work with engineering studies (Topcu, 2021). Such institutions recommend a block-modular educational structure with varying work and study times, such as a month-by-month system or a three-month, two-week study cycle.
