In the second phase, the researcher sent out the survey for responses. After the pilot test went well on August 10, 2022, data collection started and continued until November 10, 2022. Permission was sought from the selected technical universities with a cover letter from the researcher's university, which enabled smooth data collection without any dissent from the respondent. Questionnaire was distributed to the respondents who are willing to take part in the research through online. The head of mechanical engineering and the sectional heads of the Automobile and production laboratory and workshops of the selected universities assisted in the procedure by informing final year mechanical engineering students about the purpose of the research. Questionnaires (both closed and opened-ended questions) was used to collect primary data from Lecturers and final year automobile and production engineering students from the selected Universities.
Consent forms was attached to every questionnaire for respondents to read and have an idea about the research before answering the questions. In every activity, it is considered unethical to collect information without the knowledge of the participant, and their expressed readiness and informed consent. The reason for the consent form is to inform the participants of the type of information the researcher wants, why the information was being sought, its purposes, and how they would take part in the study. The key aspect of this study is that is voluntary. Every selected respondent will take part willingly without being forced into the research. The researcher exported the survey data from Google into an Excel spreadsheet file. The information has now been verified and arranged according to the study
questions. The researcher checked the dataset for minimum and maximum values and cleaned the data for analysis.
