IV. Results and Trends A. Aging Results The TEAB samples removed after 2 and 4 days in the humidity oven looked much more opaque than when they started, but they were still liquid. The sample pulled on the 6 th day had the consistency of a gel, but was still partially liquid. The samples on the 7 th day were divided two were similar to the sample on day 6, but two were white, dry, and chalky. Additionally, the samples pulled on days 6 and 7 visibly lost mass. Ramachandran’s TEAB was put in the same oven with the same conditions and it also turned into a white, chalky powder after 7 days. The sample aged for 7 days in dry air was slightly more opaque than it started. The sample in a dry nitrogen environment for 14 days was not anymore opaque than it started.
