Procedure:

Draw the given orthographic views
Project horizontal lines from all points on the elevation
Let the projected lines be equal to the perimeter
Mark the fold lines and put the base side

DEVELOPMENT OF PYRAMIDS
For the development of pyramids always remember the rule which says that development can only be worked out from lines of true lengths.
Square Pyramid
Procedure:

Draw the given views of the pyramids
Find the true length of the slant side
Centre at O radius OB1 draw an arc
Radius one side of the pyramid step out 4 units on the arc.
Join the fold lines to get the development.

Procedure:

Draw the given views of the pyramid
Centre at O on the elevation, radius OB describe an arc shown.
Using radius equal to one of the side of the pyramid, step off six units on the arc.
Draw the fold lines
Centre at O, radii Oa, Ob, Oc and Od describe arcs showing the points of truncation
Mark the points of intersection of the arcs with their corresponding fold lines
Join to get the development
