CORPORATE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

Course Program:
the course is divided into two parts:


  1. the recognition of administrative facts this part proposes aimes at defining the methods of recognition of administrative facts related to different areas into which the enterprise management can be divided and the recognitions needed at year end for the determination of income of the period and statement of financial position as at year end, along witj the first notions concerning the representation of the values into the forms of profit and loss and statement of financial position enforced by law

  2. from the company’s accounts to disclosures according to national GAAP (IT GAAP) and international accounting standards (IFRS). The second part of the course is aimed at defining the process leading to the measurements of assets and liabilities in the statement of financial position, and the related disclosures to be included in the note to financial statements and in the financial review, both with reference to the national and international accounting principles, with particular reference to the following issues:

  1. international harmonization and changes in the framework of the financial statements.

  2. purpose and general principles of the statutory (seperated) financial statements

  3. structure and content of the financial statements

  4. tangible and intangible assets

  5. Financial instruments and derivatives

  6. warehouse inventory and construction contracts

  7. receivables, payables, allowances, provisions and other liabilities

  8. income taxes


Educational Aim

The course of corporate financial statements is intended to provide the students the tools of typical accounting for the interpretation and the recognition of the major administrative facts of the company, and to understand procedure needed to draft the financial statements having regard to the main particulars of the Italian doctrine of financial accounting and the requirements provided in the national (principles OIC) and international standards (IFRS).

Assessment

Compulsory written test, oral supplementary.


Activities of Mentoring the course provides activities of mentoring, also for students workers.

Course Program




The objective of the course is the study of general rules and

regulations of economic undertakings as









an individual or in the form of a partnership and/or a company. In particular, the course will center on the legal aspects of such undertakings, with special attention to profit making partnership and companies. Special attention shall be dedicated to the study of general rules and regulations of companies with shares (S.P.A) as well as of companies with limited liability (S.R.L.).




Educational Aim

Educational aim of the course is to improve students skillness and

ability to critically analyze undertakings and companies law rules

and regulations, with particular attention to their economic and

social externalities.
