Course Program

  • Characteristics and areas of diffusion of the German language;-

  • civilization and German culture;

  • political-economic system in Germany, in Austria and in Switzerland.

The objective is to develop above all grammatical competences and phonetics.




Educational Aim

The aim is to furnish the necessary tools to the student to understand actual texts of economic and political matter in German language.



  • Learning of the principal grammatical, syntactic and morphological structures.

  • Acquisition of the lexicon and the learning of the specific lexicon.-

  • Development of the textual competences

Assessment




Written (grammatic and text comprehension) and oral exam (test partially in german about topics studied during the lessons). In order to have access to the oral examination is necessary to pass the written one. Not attending students have to arrange the program with the professor.

Course Program

Business English and General English, from Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate.

The aim of the course is to widen and deepen the linguistic and business skills the students acquired in the first course in order to enable them to use the English language correctly and fluently for general, business and economic matters.





Educational Aim

Educational Aim

The main aim of the course is to provide the basic elements for the understanding of how an economy works from a macroeconomic perspective, first in the short term, with fixed prices, second, in the medium term, with price flexibility, and, then, in the long term, with capital accumulation..

It would be better to have basic notions of Mathematics (i.e.: elementary algebra), of Microeconomics (production functions and consumption theory) and of basic Statistics.
