Values Development (Kagandahang Asal)

LSENs are expected to observe positive attitudes such as discipline, honesty, respect and concern for others.

  1. Motor Development &

Physical Health
(Pagpapaunlad sa Kakayahang Motor at Kalusugang Pisikal)

LSENs are expected to develop both their fine and gross motor skills when engaging in simple physical and health activities. They are also expected to observe good health habits and to build awareness about the importance of safety and how they can prevent danger at home, in school, and in public places.

  1. Aesthetic/Creative Development

(Sining)

LSENs are expected to improve their aesthetic sense and creative expression through simple drawing, painting, and manipulative activities. Aesthetic development involves the appreciation and love of beauty in art, music, and movement, and provides opportunities for the expression of emotions, thoughts, feelings, and ideas.

  1. Mathematics

LSENs are expected to recognize patterns of mathematics, basic concepts of numbers, length, capacity, mass, and time through the use of realia/concrete objects or materials, and to apply these meaningfully in their daily experiences. LSENs are provided with varied manipulative activities to help them observe mathematical ideas.

  1. Understanding of the Physical and Natural Environment

LSENs are expected to appreciate concepts pertaining to living and non-living things including weather. They are also expected to show interest in their immediate environment and observation using their senses (touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing).
