Confirm associated instruments are operative from independent sources, and
Inoperative switches are placarded ‘INOP’ and not moved during flight.
Confirm the switch is not in a cross transfer position and in the event of a symbol generator failure on either side, the Reversion Switches are not used to transfer data. However the symbol generator from the MFD may be switched over to the inoperative pilot station. The MFD will be inoperative if this is accomplished.
