Duties: The Social Worker is accountable to the Team Manager Parent Helpline for the provision of telephone and e-mail based services to parents of children and young people 0-25 years, with an emphasis on parenting and relationship issues with an identified risk of mental health issues. The Social Worker works in conjunction with the Senior Social Worker.

Special Conditions: This is a temporary 12-month position working fulltime in the Parent Helpline. This appointment is subject to a satisfactory Offender History Check. Possession of a current South Australian Drivers licence and the willingness to drive. Required to work an evening shift once per week. Qualifications: A Degree or other qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist.

The service adopts a clinical case management approach and is available five days a week.

Qualifications: A degree level qualification in the social work discipline to a standard accepted by the Chief Executive.

Special Conditions: The hours of work will be 22.5 hours per week. Some out off hours work may be required. Will be required to travel between locations and work within the client's own environment within the metropolitan region. Intrastate travel may be required. Initially appointed to the Unley Carramar Community Team within the FMC Division of Mental Health region, but may be required to move to another team / location within the Division. Salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
