Duties: The Social Worker is accountable to the Team Manager Parent Helpline for the provision of telephone and e-mail based services to parents of children and young people 0-25 years, with an emphasis on parenting and relationship issues with an identified risk of mental health issues. The Social Worker works in conjunction with the Senior Social Worker.
Special Conditions: This is a temporary 12-month position working fulltime in the Parent Helpline. This appointment is subject to a satisfactory Offender History Check. Duties: The community Care Team provides a range of services and treatment clinics as well as a more specialised individual and group therapy programs. The encumbent will be required further to providing clinical case management and OT specific assessments to link closely with acute inpatient services, psychoeducational programs, general practitioners and organisations which support consumers with a mental illness or disorder.
