Duties: The Senior Finance Officer is accountable to the Finance Manager for contributing to the provision of financial management, policy, budget preparation and reporting services. This includes the provision of comprehensive, timely and accurate financial information which assists the Executive and Cost Centre Managers in making sound financial decisions.

Project Officer - Health Promotion (part-time) (TEMPORARY UP TO 12 MONTHS)

Duties: Responsible for implementing and coordinating the 'Mental Health Promotion for Veterans' project. Improve and maintain the health, well being and independence of the local veteran community. The project plan has been developed using a Capacity Building framework. The Project Officer will be required to provide project reports and updates to the Department of Veterans' Affairs and the Team Leader, Domiciliary Care.

Special Conditions: This is a temporary part time contract position for up to 12 months. Hours to be negotiated according to project's needs with a maximum of 60 hours per fortnight. Duties: Reports to the Executive Director, Nursing and Patient Services, and is responsible for the hospital wide management of patient allocation to beds and the coordination of patient movement along the Continuum of Care. Involves working with the Executive Director to identify and implement strategies, which contribute to more effectively coordinating the allocation of beds by identifying system problems related to bed management. Responsible for the development of Policy and Procedures relating to the improvement of these processes.

Special Conditions: This position will be filled as a contract appointment for 2 years. No fixed hours of work. Intra/inter state travel will be required.
