| Academic Honesty
If you are caught cheating on an exam you will receive an F in the course in addition to any further penalties imposed by the university. Cheating constitutes any method or activity whereby you secure an answer to an exam question unfairly, including but not limited to looking at someone else’s exam, using a mobile phone during the exam, using a cheat-sheet, or any other deceptive practice. By enrolling in this course, you agree to abide by the JMU Honor Code (www.jmu.edu/honor/code.shtml). Violation of the JMU Honor Code can result in disciplinary action that may affect your academic standing.
