**Conference Co-Champions - A third, “Conference Playoff Game” between the two schools also ended in a Draw, including 20 minutes of [OT]; in fact all three meetings between them were Draws, through [OT]. This was the only time that the CAL held a playoff game to attempt to crown an outright champion in soccer. In later years the CAL will adopt the Rose Bowl Rule.
