Trend of Data Management in MIS


We used five keywords to try and trend the activity of data management in research: Data Mining, Relational Database, Data Management, Data Warehouse, and OLAP. From the graphs we can see that data management really began it’s growth in 1970, and the data mining aspect has become increasingly important within the past 15 years, and it will continue to be one of the most important research areas in this field.
