3.2.4 Data analysis
Kothari (2004) identifies the two broad approaches to an academic research as, the quantitative and the qualitative approaches. The former focuses on the collection of measurable data that can be quantified in terms of how much and how many like income, population, etc, while the latter centres on the assessment of opinions, attitudes and behaviour, which can be easily obtained via interviews or the content analysis of archival texts. 25 for analysing the field data with the aid of Microsoft Excel graphical presentation of the analysed data was done with descriptive statistical tools like frequency table, pie chart, bar and column charts for easy visualization of the results.
