respondents within the age group of 26 and 40 years constituted the majority out of the total of 200 respondents followed by people between 41 and
65 years. These are sections of the surveyed area that are available in the neighbourhood during working hours and weekends when the survey was carried out due to the nature of their job. This population groups are still open to learning and could be the focus of a community-based environmental education targeted at improving environmentally-friendly behaviours. Five of the six LCDAs except Ayobo/Ipaja recorded highest number of respondents between the ages of 26 and 40 years.
