The annual fee to obtain a solutions partner designation is the same as the current Gold membership fee level. This will have the biggest impact on existing Silver partners who will see a significant jump in annual fees. What are the fees fora solutions partner designation?

So, how do you earn a solutions partner designation This is based on your partner capability score which is determined by five metrics in three categories:

Performance: Measured by net customer adds
•
Customer success: Customer usage growth and number of successful deployments
•
Skilling: Points are awarded for each person on your team with specified certifications (intermediate and advanced) Based on these areas, you will be awarded points according to your performance. You must earn 70 out of an available 100 points and have points across all metrics to qualify fora solutions partner designation.
If you score below 70, you have the option to purchase an Action Pack. This provides some technical presales advisory hours, co-sell eligibility, Azure credits and Visual Studio subscriptions.

Once you earn a solutions partner designation, you can further distinguish your technical expertise by attaining a specialization. These specializations align with the six solution partner designation areas and showcase your in-depth knowledge in a specific area. Partners must maintain certain certifications in order to validate their specializations. There are no additional fees associated with specializations, however, once you’ve paid the solutions partner designation fee.
