The annual Christmas Parade passes through historic Downtown Trussville. This is a free event for the family to enjoy. The parade will begin on Parkway Drive and circle the city. It will end at the Mall where there will be a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony and snow.

The Bradenton Blues Festival, which is produced by Realize Bradenton, is an annual festival featuring top blues musicians in Downtown Bradenton. Food, drink, and an array of vendors complement the live music to create an amazing experience at the Riverwalk along the Manatee River. The proceeds from the Bradenton Blues Festival support Realize Bradenton’s youth, art, and music programs that are free to the community.

The festivities begin with the arrival of Santa Lucia, the first candy cane of the season, and Santa lighting the great tree – and continue with roasted chestnuts, strolling carolers, a live nativity and free carriage rides on Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday evening Santa Lucia arrives and Santa makes his Geneva debut brought by horse-drawn carriage to open his Gingerbread House. Enjoy carolers, the Great Tree lighting, roasted chestnuts, Swedish cookies, an old-fashioned candy cane pull, and holiday shopping.
