Moro Street in Aggieville comes alive in holiday celebration for the New Year's Eve countdown and Little Apple Drop. A raucous crowd will gather to ring in the new year and listen to party music in the streets of Aggieville USA.

Popular tour of historic homes of Leavenworth organized by the Leavenworth Vintage Homes Society in cooperation with the Leavenworth County Historical Society. Tour headquarters is the Carroll Mansion Museum, 1128 Fifth Ave., in Leavenworth, KS, the First City of Kansas. Featured homes are listed on the Society website, along with ticket information. Not all homes are handicap accessible.

Col. William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody and his wife Louisa loved to entertain for the holidays in their beautiful mansion. Today their hometown of North Platte, Nebraska keeps that tradition alive with Christmas at the Cody’s. Each year, on the four days before Christmas Eve, townsfolk gather to decorate each room of the mansion, the outbuildings and grounds and the huge barn that was a staging point for the famed Wild West Show with thousands of lights for the Christmas season.

Showcasing 350 years of seasonal and holiday traditions against the backdrop of the Museum’s furnished historic houses. Visitors stroll from house to historic house, greeted by costumed role players and performers who recreate the traditions of times past, rediscovering the joys of simpler times.

Some of the largest craft fairs in the area. Each features over 150 of the best crafters in New England. Park your car and shop in the High School where you will be able to shop from our talented crafters to your heart’s content.Open 9AM to 3PM.

9:30-11:00am : Discover what goes on behind the scenes at our aquarium while you tour the building from top to bottom. Pre-registration and sneakers are required. Ages 5 & up only.

A New Year's celebration that's fun for the whole family. Enjoy fireworks on the Delaware River, Countdown to a Dance Party Extravaganza with Gill the Aquarium's mascot, special animal up-close experiences, touch exhibits and more.

8:00am-1:00pm : This program provides students ages 10-16 with the opportunity to experience the aquarium from an employee's point of view. Pre- registration and sneakers are required.

The orchestra, soloists, and choir, conducted by Richard Egarr and Louise Basbas, usher in the holiday season with a program of favorites. The highlight is J.S. Bach’s Magnificat—along with his Orchestral Suite No.3, and his motet, Lobet den Herrn. The performance also includes Corelli’s jubilant Christmas Concerto.

The Oakwood Waits perform a cappella Christmas songs in antebellum costume. Enjoy the spirit of the season in an 1858 plantation home, listed in the National Register. Cherry Hill Plantation is located at the intersection of NC 58 and Rabbit Bottom Rd, in the Inez Community.

The Crystal Coast Christmas Flotilla features boats, yachts, oars, kayaks and commercial vessels decorated for the season. The decorated boats can be seen at 5:30 p.m., on the Morehead City waterfront and at 6:15 p.m., on the Beaufort waterfront.

This celebration held the first weekend in December boasts local waterfowl art, music, seafood, museum exhibits and more. It also includes educational displays, competitions, arts & crafts, community boat building and a fellowship service on Sunday morning.
