I. Minutes
The Minute of Meeting held on 5th October 1962 was read and approved.
II. Annual General Meeting 23rd October 1962
The Clerk reported that he was not in a position to submit a Statement of Receipts and Payments as all the ticket money had yet been paid.
III. Annual Dinner – 28th November 1962
He Clerk submitted Specimen Menus at the price of 21/- received from the Invercarse Hotel and a discussion followed as to the most suitable Menu. It was left to the Clerk to make the necessary arrangements and if necessary to pay an increased cost not exceeding 22/6d. Draft Toast list was submitted and agreed.
The Clerk reported that Mr John Anderson was unable to propose the Vote of Thanks and Mr Louis J Hill agreed to undertake this duty, it was arranged that the Deacon and Mr W K Black would meet the Clerk on Monday 26th November to make the necessary Table arrangements and the Deacon and Mr Black would also assist on the Wednesday afternoon at Invercarse Hotel on arranging the Tables.

I. Minutes.
The Minute of Meeting held on 14th November 1962 was read and approved.
II. Applications for Membership
The Clerk reported that the following Applications for Membership had been received namely:
Edward D Allardyce Surgical Technician 2 Rankine Street Dundee, proposed by the Deacon.
Thomas Lindsay Gray Civil Engineer and Architect 2a Reres Road Broughty Ferry Dundee, proposed by Donald Brodie Mackenzie.
Alexander Smith Managing Director 162 City Road Dundee proposed by Alexander Kinnear Tulloch
William Taylor McKenzie Yeaman Medical Practitioner 22 Jedburgh Road Dundee proposed by John Ross Carmichael.
The Committee approved of these applications. The Deacon reported that he had expected one or tow other Application to be received and the Deacon, Boxmaster and Clerk were authorised to approve of any further Applications.
III. Arrangements for Making
Draft Specimen Menus were submitted and it was left to the Deacon and the Clerk to approach the Queen’s Hotel and if possible restrict the price of the Tickets to 15/- with a maximum of 17/6d id was felt that a three-course supper should be sufficient.
IV Toast List,
The Deacon reported that Dr Glyn Thomas was to propose The Toast of ‘The City and Trade of Dundee’ and it was hoped that Lord Provost Maurice McManus would reply. ‘The Nine Incorporated Trades’ was to be proposed by Mr Louis M Hill and replied to by the Convener. Dr O Taylor Brown undertook to propose ‘The Vote of Thanks’.
It was decided that e Annual General Meeting and Making should be held during the last week in September and the Deacon was to approach the Boxmaster in regard to the matter, it was decided not to definitely book the Queen’s Hotel until after the march Making.
V Annual Dinner
The Statement of Receipts and Payments of the Annual Dinner which showed a profit of £14.11. 2d was submitted and approved.
VI. Annual Dinner 1963
It was decided that the Annual Dinner should be held on Wednesday 27th November 1963 in Invercarse Hotel and the Clerk was instructed to confirm this Booking.

The Minute of Meeting held on 8th February 1963 was read and approved.
II. Applications for Membership
The Clerk reported that Applications for Membership had been received as follows:

Certain Members reported that they expected that on or two additional Applications would be received and the Deacon, Boxmaster and Clerk were authorised to approve of these Applications provided that were in the hands of the Clerk within a week of two.
III. Arrangements for the Initiation Meeting and Annual General Meeting
The Clerk reported that the Making and the Annual General Meeting would take place in the Queen’s Hotel on 26th September. He submitted specimen Menus from the Queen’s Hotel etc were now charged 13/6d per head plus 1/- to cover Gratuities. It was decided the price of the Tickets would now have to be increased to 17/6d.
IV. Toast List
“The Nine Incorporated Trades” it was suggested that Mr A Dickson Williams Solicitor whom failing Mr Dorward or Mr John R Pate be asked to propose this Toast. The Reply to be in the hands of the Convener.
“The Deacon Boxmaster & Clerk”. It was suggested that this Toast be proposed by Ex-Deacon John Robb.
“The New Members”. This Toast of course would be proposed by the Boxmaster.
Arrangements for Annual Dinner.
The Boxmaster reported that he had completed the Toast List but through a misunderstanding he was under the impression that the Dinner was to be held on 27th November and not 4th December which he had understood was the correct date. He stated however that he did not anticipate any great difficulty in getting the original Speakers on the alternative date.
The Boxmaster answered that the original new Boxmaster would be Mr J Greig Sibbald. The Committee approved of the appointment.
