Activities performed: Led in planning the work and organizing the environmental team to: (1) Update the Phase 1 Environmental Guidelines to be used as a framework to assess environmental compliance for all investment under the Phase 2 project. (2) Preparation of EIA and EMP in accordance with the approved Environmental Guidelines. (3) Provision of capacity building for environmental assessment and monitoring on the project implementation as well as guidance during operation of the water supply project. (4) Provision of advice the detailed design on environmental site constraints and requirements. (5) Ensured the adequacy of the bid documents on the WB-EHS requirements.
