Activities performed:The tasks consisted planning the work and organizing the team to: (1) Develop the guidelines on environmental and social assessments and management for road projects, including preparing and implementing resettlement plans, environmental and social management plans, and monitoring and evaluation of environmental and social impacts from construction, rehabilitation, operations, and maintenance of the road network. (2) Conduct training to ARS staff on project management and implementation, covering procurement; recruitment of consultants; implementation and monitoring of social and environmental management plans; Climate Change topics; reporting; and monitoring and evaluation of project performance and impacts.
