Hunt, affirming Sparks research & his work as a peace officer & mentioning his own role in trying to catch the Apache Kid. Also printed are commendation letters by John H. Lacy, M.D. & Dr. J. A. Lord, dentist. A good copy or better (heck, I think it is a vg copy) with relatively minor edgewear. Lower fore corners of covers each with an old crease; 1" split at bottom where spine joins front cover archivally closed. A touch of loss to extreme head/toe of backstrip. The hardbound copy is scarce enough, but this wrappers binding with the great cover is rare. 6-guns 2075. Good. Paperback. (#1204133) $750.38
