4. Manage deviations This section describes the management of deviations for assurance and safety critical SCE work orders which cannot be completed before their LAFD. Deviations should be kept to a minimum by complying with the steps detailed in section three of this manual and applying the principles of the MOPO. Deviation management involves the assessment of the risks, identification and execution of mitigating actions and closeout of the deviation.
