Duration: full day, lunch included

You will enjoy a short visit to the Medina, walking along its streets and admiring the products of Berber craftsmen. Your trip will continue with a short coach drive to El Jadida, previously known as Mazagan, a city that was seized by the Portuguese in 1502 and that remained under their control until 1769. The fortified city was listed as a UNESCO heritage site in 2004 as an “outstanding example of the interchange of influences between European and Moroccan cultures”. Highlight of the tour will be a visit to the famous Portuguese Cistern whose floor is covered by a thin layer of water creating fine reflections of light. The cistern was built in 1514 as a warehouse and was converted into a cistern later and was constructed with five rows of five stone pillars. A walking along the streets of the Medina will follow before taking a break for sightseeing enjoying a typical lunch. A coach drive to Casablanca will mark the end of your tour.

CIVITAVECCHIA (Italy)
The port city of Civitavecchia lies about an hour from Italy’s capital, Rome, and is the starting point for excursions into the ‘Eternal City’. Rome probably needs no introduction – it is the ultimate vacation destination - there is perhaps no other city so crammed full of history, with layer upon layer of fabulous ruins and imperial temples, not to mention Etruscan tombs, early Christian churches, medieval bell towers, Renaissance palaces and baroque basilicas, all which can be enjoyed under the magic of the warm Southern sun.
